A series of 12 small (19 cm x 19 cm) abstract mixed-media paintings on acid-fee paper, based on reflections in shallow saltwater pools standing on sand, on those days when the horizon between sky and sea is barely discernible. Halcyon days: these paintings are tranquil and placid in the main, but with the occasional reminder than no matter how still and calm the waters are, there may be something unexpected waiting under the surface, occasionally.
